Bobovišća

Bobovišća is a small settlement divided into the mainland and the port we call Bobovišća na Moru. They are located on the west side of the island of Brač, somewhere in the middle of the road from Sutivan to Milna.

Bobovišća is a place of rich history that takes us back to the time of the Illyrians and Greeks, whose traces you can find in the nearby Vičja luka.

Bobovišća na Moru is also known for the poet Vladimir Nazor, whose family house is located in the village. Above the port, there is a hidden surprising monument he erected for his three sisters.

Bobovišća na Moru is a small tourist oasis of the Mediterranean as it once was, and its older part, located above the port, is an idyllic small island village.
