Donji Humac

Village Donji Humac on Island Brač

Donji Humac is one of the oldest places in Brač. This small village in the interior of the island is not a typical tourist place, but still, a large number of tourists come to visit it.

There is a unique gallery of the Jakšić family, a combination of sculpture, painting and fashion design - something you must see!

The local population is proud of its stonemasonry tradition, and from the village, you can see the nearby quarry from which the famous Brač stone is extracted.

Nearby is the Kopačina cave, where were find traces of life from 8000 years before Christ.

If you are already on island Brač, be sure to take a walk through this small idyllic place adorned with old stone houses and narrow streets.
