Traces of life dating back to 8000 BC have been found in the cave, so it is considered to be the oldest human habitat in Dalmatia.
Unfortunately, the cave has not yet been fully explored and it is closed to visitors, but you can find it by walking along the macadam road that leads from the cemetery in Donji Humac.
You can see some of the finds from the cave in the nearby restaurant Kopačina and in the Island of Brač Museum in Škrip.
