Nerežišća celebrates its day on July 13 on the day of St. Margaret, so the locals celebrate that day with a special ceremony.
The whole village is festive from early morning with the Holy Mass in the local church.
In the evening, when the summer heat subsides a bit, the locals and their guests gather in the center of Nerežišća for a traditional feast with food, drinks and live music.
