On September 26, Supetar will host the 6th edition of the FOR FLAG Sustainable Development Festival. From 5 to 10 p.m., Park Ratac will transform into a vibrant hub of community, education, and entertainment, all centred around the preservation of the island, the sea, and nature.
The Local Action Group Brač (LAG) and the Local Action Group in Fisheries Brač (FLAG) once again invite islanders and visitors to join the FOR FLAG Sustainable Development Festival. The event was created to bring together all those who passionately work to preserve Brač’s traditions, environment, and sense of community.
Festival program includes:
- 17:00 – 20:00 – Island’s Treasures Zone: presentation of local producers, craftsmen, family farms, associations, and school cooperatives.
- 17:00 – 19:00 – Creative workshop for adults Art pitura & vino.
- 17:00 – 19:00 – Outdoor games for children in cooperation with the sports association Zvrk.
- 17:00 – 19:00 – Workshop on traditional fishing skills (salting fish, net weaving) organised by the Mrduja Maritime Sports Fishing Society.
- 18:00 – 20:00 – Evening snack with Konoba Vinotoka: grilled swordfish, black gnocchi, and cuttlefish.
- 20:00 – 22:00 – Concert by the Brač band The Fab Seven performing timeless Beatles hits.
Organisers emphasise that the festival is an opportunity to connect, share knowledge and experiences, support local producers, and enjoy the unique flavours and sounds of the island.
Everyone is invited to Supetar on Friday, September 26, to spend an afternoon and evening dedicated to sustainability, community, and entertainment.
