The island of Brač is known for its white stone, which is used to build many world-famous buildings, from Diocletian's Palace in Split to the lobby of the United Nations building in New York.
Along with stone, the Stonemasonry school in Pučišća is becoming more and more famous, which every year trains top young stonemasons from all over the world.
The stonemason school is open to visitors in the summer so that anyone who wishes can visit it and see the student works.
