Brač Run 2026 returns to the island of Brač, offering a family-friendly sports weekend taking place from June 20 to June 21. The event brings together running, swimming, gastronomy and social gatherings in a unique coastal setting, welcoming participants of all ages and fitness levels.
The program begins on Saturday, June 20, with senior cross-country races of 12 km and 7.5 km, alongside children’s races. The routes connecting Sumartin and Selca offer a distinctive running experience along the sea, through olive groves and natural landscapes, passing traditional stone houses, and surrounded by the scents of Mediterranean herbs, pine trees and the sea.
A special highlight of the Saturday program is an interactive cooking show organised by the ŠKMER association from Split. At the race starting point, chefs will prepare live outdoor culinary specialities, which will be served to participants as a well-earned reward after the race and an opportunity for relaxed socialising in a friendly atmosphere.
After the sporting and gastronomic program, the day concludes with live music and a concert by the band ŠoMazgoon, bringing energy and entertainment to the evening program.
Registrations are open to everyone – from children to experienced runners – with organisers describing Brač Run as a perfect combination of sport, relaxation and family experience.
Brač Run is more than a sporting event; it is an authentic island experience that combines challenge, nature, the sea and the rhythm of island life.
In addition to running events, participants can also take part in the swimming competition. On Sunday, June 21, precisely at 10:24 AM, marking the official start of summer, the open-water swimming race “Jaglun Challenge Povlja” will take place, offering participants a unique opportunity to literally swim into the summer season.
