Sv. Roko bike trail
Supetar - Mirca - Sutivan - Mirca - Supetar
This cycling trail is ideal for a short family adventure as it avoids all congested main roads and has no significant elevations. It is named after the patron saint of Sutivan, Saint Rocco (Sveti Roko).
The trail leads from the centre of Supetar and mostly follows the coastline through Mirca and to the beautiful Sutivan. It is 15 km long and it takes an average of 1 h to complete. But you can extend it by visiting some beautiful sights along the road.
After leaving Supetar behind in the beautiful Vela Luka bay you will enter a forest leading to Mutnik beach. From there a macadam road will get you to the small village of Mirca. We strongly suggest taking some time to see the old part of the village that is located further from the sea next to the church.
From Mirca all the way to Sutivan, you will cycle on a beautiful macadam road surrounded by olive trees and a Mediterranean forest.
Ružmarin bike trail
Bol - Dominican Monastery - Zlatni rat - Bol
This trail has a few climbs, but it's definitely worth a try as you will visit some of the most beautiful sights on the south coast of the island Brač. It is 20 km long and it takes an average of 1:30 h to complete.
You can continue on the macadam road to the east through olive groves and vineyards to the end of the path where you can make a U-turn to Bol and the famous Zlatni Rat beach. The road to the beach is a beautiful coastal promenade where you will enjoy the amazing scenery.
VrhBrača bike trail
Selca - Rasotica - Sumartin - Novo Selo - Selca
Vrh Brača is an old name for the easternmost part of the island that includes Selca and surrounding settlements and villages. This trail goes around most of these beautiful places.
The 17 km long trail starts in Selca and you can pass it after cycling for about 1:30 h. From Selca road descends to the east to deep bay and an abandoned village called Rasotica. There you will find an oasis of tranquillity.
Take a coastal macadam road towards Sumartin. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and the views of the turquoise sea while mountain Biokovo looks down on you across the sea channel.
Česmina bike trail
Airport Brač - Gornji Humac - Pražnica - Airport Brač
If you wish to discover the oldest part of Brač, you have to take the Česmina bike trail. Česmina is an evergreen oak tree native to this region known as the oldest inhabited part of the island.
In the past, pirates and other conquerors often attacked the island and drove the local population away from the shores, so the first villages developed high in the safety of the island.
Along the way, you will see several small churches and you can also visit an abandoned village Straževnik located east of Pražnica. The village was abandoned in the 15th century after a plague epidemic.
Fortress and Lantern bike trail
Milna - Baterija - Ražanj - Milna
This 11 km long cycling trail will lead you to the westernmost point of Brač. It takes less than one hour to start and get back to Milna but you will definitely spend more time enjoying the views and beautiful nature.
The road is mostly macadam and along the way, you will visit Baterija fortress built by Napoleon and the amazing Ražanj lighthouse which signals the way for ships passing through the busiest channel on the entire Adriatic.
After relaxing in the clean sea air, you will enjoy riding your bike back to Milna through the shade of a pine forest.
